Mr. P Gopala Krishna

About me:

Mr. P Gopala Krishna,Associate Professor of Information Technology, pursuing his PhD from Andhra University, Visakhapatnam and has over fourteen years of Academic experience in various prominent educational Institutes in India.

His Ph.D work is on Document Clustering being carried out at Andhra University. He had earned Bachelors of Science in Mathematics, Master of Sciences in Mathematics and Masters of Technology in Computer Science and Technology.

Prof Gopal’s research interests include developing algorithms and models for Document Clustering in which he has more than 10 publications, in various journals and conferences. He is currently working on developing Evolutionary Computation Techniques for Document Clustering.

Prof Gopal is currently Dean, Publicity & Alumni Affairs looking after Planning, directing, and coordinating activities to create and maintain a favorable public image and awareness for Gokaraju Rangaraju Institute of Engineering and Technology. He has been in this role since April 2017. Planning, developing and implementing Publicity strategies to enhance the image of GRIET. He is instrumental in Researching, writing and distributing press releases to targeted media, Preparation of data and submission to various private and government ranking agencies, Issuing advertisements for Admissions, Recruitment and other promotional activities of the organization. He is activey engaged in Create strong network with the Alumni and ensure that all stake holders are benefited, Enhance endowment fund of GRIET through donations from alumni and well-wishers and assist management in its effective utilization.

Prof Gopal is instrumental in hiring the best talent possible for different roles in various departments by using a Job Benchmarking with a valid pre-employment assessment by conducting structured interviews.

He is a Life Member of ISTE, a Life member of The Society of Digital Information and Wireless Communications (SDIWC), a Life member of International Association of Engineers (IAENG), a Life Member of ACM-Computer Science Teachers Association (CSTeachers.org), and a Life Member of Asian Society for Computer Academicians and Professional(ASCAP).
